Kelpie Creative provides a service to festivals and other events combining song, creative making and storytelling for children and families, based in our own small marquee.

The result is a haven of creative calm where individuals are inspired to let their imagination lead them.

The Kelpie Creative team is made up of artists collaborating in different areas of the creative arts to offer workshop sessions or day-long activities using traditional songs and stories along with making from found or recycled objects.

The core team is made up of traditional singer Christina Stewart, storyteller Whigmaleerie (Lesley MacLean), body artist and singer Michele Garner and maker Cathy MacLeod, all of whom are experienced working in childcare and education. Additional team members can be brought on board for specific projects.
